One Day ~

I know that everyone says my other twin in far better than me at Culinary Arts because i realized my passion later than he did , but that makes me more determined to be a better chef and just one day i might reach him . I have been training under his supervision and beggining to adopt his technique on Japanese and French Dishes . I may be the underdog but i will do my best to rise one day , but to do this determination is key .

Justin (right ) , Jordan (left ) we compete in competition as a team to bond our passion and creativity . Justin my twin and mentor , he taught me alot on how to become a great chef and i will take his words and reach my dreams.

Teamworking is essential ~

Watch me bro , i will be there one day to challenge you and find out how much I improve with your training :) But one things for sure , we have teamwork like no others :) And that's the reason we are untouchable *for now*

SMKDJ Final Culinary Challenge 2011

Well the SMKDJ Culinary club will end its program with this final challenge , where everyone gets picked into teams to compete and bring out a entree and a dessert , the best one wins it :) So i handpicked my team which consist of Xiann Goh ( Dumb but fast ) , Jun Lay ( Smart but slow ) , Julien ( Tall and obedient ) , Simon ( Smart and Obedient ) , Ryan Yau ( Dumb and slow) , Irfan ( FFK )

We all got into action and started our mojo :)

Then i got the stove ready and instructed the team to prep the ingredients with tickets (Y)

Good idea in the end :) so we got off to a good start and made the hollandaise sauce and tomato olive sauce while Xiann was in charge of the Mascarpone filled custard bread dessert . Julien did the scallops

I then began to plate my scallops with smoked salmon at the bottom with my hollandaise sauce :)

We won in the end :) we had fun and alot of fooooood :D though Ryan wanted to start a food fight :/ cheers to my TEAM !

New Dish :)

I recently made this french dish :) Its Chicken Breast merinated in White wine, garlic and rosemary with cream onions and mushroom sauce with lemon drizzle for the finish .Simple yet delicious :)

Taylor's 4th National Culinary Challenge 2011 (Champions)

Me and my Twin half recently competed in the Taylor's 4th National Culinary Challenge 2011 Grand Finale during July the 14th . At first when we arrive at the campus , we were amazed that other participants arrives already getting their mojo on . I was really scared to tell you the truth because our competitors were in their chef uniforms and all and they look very *PRO* . I started to clear my mind and remembered what my Twin brother Justin Christopher said : " doesnt matter how strong they make look , lets just see what they can whip up in the end . " that restored my confidence and soon we got rolling ! We have 90 minutes to whip up an entree with the theme 'Fusion' . Our main ingredients was chicken breast . spices , potato for starch and lemon grass .

Our Dish was Kunyit marinated roasted chicken with cilantro mash and cream Lemongrass sauce :)

We tried our very best and i said to my other half , even if we don't win we still had fun :) He gave me the *what the hell* look :O SO i guess he really wants to win , and secretly ... so do I >:) and so the judges went on to tabulate our dishes and the rest of our competitors ..... we were asked to go to the lecture hall to find out the results .I WAS FRIGGIN NERVOUS :O After the 2nd and 1st runner up's received their medals and certs , i was the annunciation of the Champions . And the winner of the Taylor's 4th National Culinary Challenge 2011 is .... THE TWINS FROM SMKDJ !!!! i was jumping up and down With Justin :D

I knew we could do it :) Remember the Jordan Justin twins in the near future people .... we will change the Culinary World starting from our country Malaysia :) Terima Kahsih
